Ian trained in London with a predecessor firm of Horwath Clark Whitehill and qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 1975. After qualification he progressed to senior manager leading one of our main client service teams which served a wide range of clients, including major plc’s and large private companies. He became a partner in 1987 when he moved to the Thames Valley office. He took over as managing partner of the office in 1994. He has extensive experience in providing corporate advice, audit services and transaction support to both private and listed companies in a wide variety of industries. Ian is a member of the firm’s National Executive Team, its listed company groups and is the non-executive chairman of Horwath Clark Whitehill Financial Services Limited.
