Steve is the Corporate Tax Partner in our Manchester office. Prior to joining in August 2008, Steve held a senior management position at a Big Four firm plus he has experience of working in commerce. Steve advises a wide range of clients from start-up businesses through to large UK privately owned and private equity backed companies. He also has extensive international tax experience and advises both inbound and outbound investment companies on effective UK tax structuring as well as managing their UK tax compliance requirements. Steve's main focus is on providing timely and proactive tax advice to companies throughout their business lifecycle with particular emphasis on optimising the tax position in relation to acquisition, disposal, group reorganisation and cross border planning. Steve also has considerable experience of dealing with company taxation compliance matters and managing HM Revenue & Customs enquiries and contentious issues. |
