Tom is the Private Client tax partner in the Manchester office with considerable experience in dealing with all aspects of personal taxation for high net worth clients and their families. His particular interest is in providing practical advice to entrepreneurial clients on the tax consequences and planning opportunities arising from their business interests. With an emphasis on the capital taxes, Tom has worked with clients on numerous transactions to ensure that the burden of tax is legitimately mitigated thereby maximising the value realised. Tom also has significant experience in the use of trusts for families to ensure that their wealth is protected from the threats of taxation and future creditors. Tom is a member of the Chartered Institute of Taxation.
