John Dent , Partner John joined Horwath Clark Whitehill in January 2010 after 25 years as a partner in a top ten UK accounting firm. He brings with him a wide ranging general practice experience mainly in the entrepreneurial sector, with a focus on financial services, manufacturing, charities and UK subsidiaries of overseas companies and groups. John also has considerable practice management experience and has advised clients on corporate finance matters, tax and reorganisations and is also an experienced auditor. John will be concentrating on providing a full range of services to entrepreneurs, of which he has considerable experience. He will also be focusing on further developing the services currently provided to UK subsidiaries of overseas companies. |

Dave May, Partner Dave entered the accountancy profession from university and qualified in 1980. As a corporate finance and tax partner
Dave was originally based in the London office but transferred in 2004 to the Kent practice in direct response to continued Dave has many years experience advising on corporate finance and tax issues and his in-depth knowledge has guided clients ranging from public companies through to small private companies. |

Keith Newman, Partner Keith is the Managing Partner of the Kent office. Keith specialises in advising clients in relation to acquisitions, expansion and raising of finance where appropriate. His clients cover a wide range of corporate bodies from publicly listed companies to sole traders and he has particular expertise in the food and construction industries. His business philosophy is to match the firm’s high technical standards to sensible commercial business advice. |

Geert Struyven , Partner Geert joined Horwath Clark Whitehill as a partner in 2007 to strengthen its national corporate finance team and to further its contact base both within the UK and overseas. Prior to qualifying as a Chartered Accountant, Geert was lecturing at the University of Wales where he obtained an MBA and a PhD. Geert is a fluent Dutch speaker and is a member of the ICAEW. |

Simon Warne, Partner Simon joined Horwath Clark Whitehill in 2006 and became a partner in April 2009. Simon previously worked for a top ten firm where he gained a great deal of experience advising larger owner-managed businesses. Simon is a specialist in corporate taxation, providing compliance services as well as advising on transactional issues such as acquisitions, disposals and restructuring. He has a particular specialism in the property sector. |

Ian Weekes, Partner Since joining Horwath Clark Whitehill in 1989, after training with a Kent based firm, Ian has progressed to partner gaining
a wealth of knowledge and technical skill along the way. His particular expertise is in transaction support including flotations, the audits of regulated businesses and the not for profit sector. Ian has built up a diverse portfolio of clients Ian is the partner responsible for the audit department in the Kent office and heads the Kent transaction support team which he established in 2001 and whose work covers all regions of the UK as well as overseas. Ian is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales. |
