Nigel Bostock , Partner Nigel is an audit and business assurance partner, having joined the firm in 1991 as a graduate trainee. Nigel specialises in acting for AIM/Listed companies and their IFRS requirements for financial reporting responsibilities. He is a co-author of the Informa Self Study Course ‘IFRS in Practice’ and has worked on the specific challenges arising from the accounting treatment and financial reporting for share based payments. In addition to auditing and financial reporting, Nigel performs valuations for fiscal purposes. He is also the firm’s Ethics Partner. |

David Chitty , Partner David leads our AIM/Listed Companies team and is an audit and business assurance partner. He has over 20 years experience in a range of industries including professional services, property and financial services. His clients are drawn from sectors including technology, telecommunications, property and professional services and has a particular interest in businesses with international activities. David is a member of the Council of the ICAEW and is Vice-Chairman of the Institute’s Practice Advisory Board. He is also the Chairman of the Audit and Assurance Committee for Crowe Horwath International, our firm’s international association. David is editor of Auditing & Reporting, which is the annual reference guide to Auditing Standards and has written several books on professional matters. |

George Cranston , Partner George leads the Corporate Finance division in the UK. He has over 25 years experience in providing a broad range of corporate finance advisory services to companies of all sizes in both the listed and private sectors. His experience includes the raising of venture and development capital, debt and equity fund raising, management buy outs and buys ins, and corporate divestitures. Recently George has been providing services to companies in the healthcare and media sectors but he also has significant experience in retail and engineering. George is a member of the firm’s National Executive and is also the London Office managing Partner. |

David Devon , Partner David is an audit and assurance partner with over 30 years experience. He acts for a number of distribution companies covering the privately owned wholesale and retail areas of the food and jewellery sectors. He also acts as a Non Executive Director for non audit clients. |

Paul Fay , Partner Paul is a Corporate Tax Partner advising entrepreneurial businesses, AIM listed organisations and overseas headquartered companies with UK subsidiaries. Specialisms include transfer pricing and cross border tax planning. He also focuses on the tax efficient structuring of transactions, including acquisitions, disposals, flotations and reorganisations. Paul has wide experience of negotiating with UK revenue on contentious issues. |

Nigel Glover, Partner Nigel has been a corporate tax specialist for 25 years having previously been an HM Inspector of Taxes (principal grade). He focuses on the taxation of companies and their shareholders as well as acting as an external tax adviser to tax directors of several major companies. Specialisms include the common law tax principles of business taxation, corporate restructuring and the taxation aspects of cross border business and financing transactions. Nigel is a member of the Crowe Horwath International Tax Committee. |

Nicola Horton , Partner Nicola joined the London office in April 2009 as a corporate advisory partner. Nicola is a well-established corporate financier with over ten years’ experience providing lead advisory services to a wide variety of quoted and private companies. Her experience includes advising on public offers (both advising the offeror and Rule 3 advice), the raising of debt, development and venture capital, private company acquisitions and disposals, management buyouts and AIM admissions. Prior to her career in corporate finance, Nicola worked in the publishing industry for six years and her media background has led to her advising on a number of transactions in the publishing, television and entertainment sectors. Before joining Horwath Clark Whitehill, Nicola was previously Head of Media at a top ten accountancy practice but has also advised companies in a variety of sectors including property, business support services and food manufacturing. |

He also advises foreign companies looking to set up UK operations. Martin specialises in advising clients in a wide range of industries, including travel, retail, property and recruitment. He has been involved in a large number of corporate transactions, typically involving owner-managed businesses selling out to large corporates or floating on AIM. |

David Mellor, Partner David is a Corporate tax partner and leads our Corporate Group in London. He specialises in advising multinational and listed groups in a wide range of industries including mining & minerals, hotels, leisure & tourism, telecommunications, software & IT, media and advertising. David is the UK firm’s International Liaison partner and a member of the Crowe Horwath International Tax Committee. He is also a member of the QCA tax committee, working for the needs of quoted companies outside the FTSE 350. |

Peter Varley, Partner Peter is a Corporate Finance partner specialising in transaction support services for both privately owned companies and substantial listed groups. He provides clients with range of due diligence and investigation services including viability reviews for banks and transaction support for mergers and acquisitions. He also acts as Reporting Accountant on a number of transactions on both the fully listed market and AIM. Peter advises clients in a wide range of industries including publishing, recruitment, property, and financial services. Peter is also a member of the firm’s Supervisory Board. |
