Meet the partners in our Hartlepool office Chris Davey, Managing Partner Chris joined the firm in 1981. He deals with the larger company audits, professional partnerships and helps owner-managed businesses (mainly in the corporate sector) with financial advice. He is our managing partner and ethics partner.
Derek Boyd, Partner Derek, who joined the firm in 1978, advises small to medium-sized businesses on tax, accounting and business issues. He also specialises in VAT planning, handles Inland Revenue investigation cases and is the firm's commercial partner.
Graeme Surtees, Partner Graeme has a portfolio of owner-managed business and is also a tax specialist and a chartered tax adviser. He handles a significant number of Inland Revenues cases and has been with the firm since 1982.
Sharon Adams, Partner Sharon has a vast knowledge of specialist tax matters and is also the firm's human resources partner. She advises businesses on tax planning arrangements. Sharon joined the firm in 1991.
Heather O'Driscoll, Partner Heather joined the firm in 1989 and qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 1986. She has a wide range of knowledge in accounting, auditing and taxation matters for not-for-profit organisations. Heather also has a wide experience of the audit for family and owner-managed businesses and pension schemes. She is our training partner.
Paul Harrison , Partner Paul joined the firm in 1996 and qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 1999. Prior to joining the firm he completed a degree at Durham University and then went on to complete a Masters degree in Information Technology. He has wide experience of dealing with all sizes of mainly family and owner managed company audits. He also has particular responsibility for the audit of pension schemes. He currently serves as a Trustee and is also Treasurer of the Hartlepool Sea Cadets, a local branch of a registered charity.
