Horwath Clark Whitehill was established in the City of London in October 1982 following a merger between Clark Pixley and Fryer Whitehill & Co to become Clark Whitehill. These predecessor firms have a history dating back to 1843. In 1994, Clark Whitehill became the UK representative of Crowe Horwath International (Horwath International became Crowe Horwath International on 2 April 2009) and later changed its name to Horwath Clark Whitehill.
