Angela Lazda, Partner Angela is the senior tax partner in the Thames Valley office and is also responsible for the firm’s tax technical resources nationally. Angela has thirty years experience in the taxation field providing advice to the firms corporate and listed clients. She has a broad knowledge of taxation, with particular expertise in corporation tax planning and tax on transactions. Angela writes articles, and regularly makes presentations at seminars and workshops. She also assists other Horwath Clark Whitehill offices and other firms of accountants with their tax advisory work. |

Alastair Lyon, Partner Alastair has been involved with the flotation of several companies including those on AIM and NASDAQ. He was appointed partner in 2000 and continues to be involved with a number of due diligence and other investigation assignments as well as acting for a portfolio of clients, many with formal reporting requirements. Alastair is the office’s Audit Compliance Partner and a member of the firm’s listed clients committee. |

Jaki Mitchell , Partner Jaki joined Horwath Clark Whitehill’s Thames Valley office in 1987. After qualifying as an Accounting Technician, Jaki went on to qualify as a Chartered Accountant in 1995. She progressed to Senior Manager within the Audit and Assurance sector predominately acting for owner-managed businesses and in particular those with hands-on accounting requirements. Jaki was appointed as an Audit Partner in 2006 and heads up our Thames Valley Accounting Solutions Group, which specialises in accountancy outsourcing needs for SME’s and inward investing companies setting up in the UK. Jaki works closely with her clients to build strong relationships and advises on the structuring of their accounting systems, procedures and processes. She is also experienced in advising foreign parent companies or UK irectors who are investing into the UK for the first time. |

Patrick O'Neill, Partner Patrick is head of services to the Property and Construction sector in the Thames Valley. He acts for a number of construction and property companies. He also advises a prominent research organisation within the construction sector. Patrick advises on a wide range of property and construction matters in the Thames Valley, including advice on business structures, minimising risk, ensuring that land deals are tax efficient, and costing work in progress and development appraisal implementation. |

John Stalker , Partner John joined Horwath Clark Whitehill in 1973 and qualified with the firm as a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants and the Institute of Taxation, and is authorised by the FSA in giving investment advice. His commercial, taxation and audit experience has enabled John to develop the role of a specialist dealing with owner managed businesses within the Thames Valley and clients cover a broad spectrum of industries and structures. The services being delivered covering compliance in accounting and taxation through to advising on longer term business strategy and financing, where he plays a key role in integrating the tax and financial planning to meet the needs of individual business owners and their families.
